Vital app, more than just a DAO
Vital Network was created with the ambition to put non-profit associations forward so that they can benefit of the large monetary flow that the crypto ecosystem represents.
However, this economic model alone is not viable, we cannot capitalize solely on the generosity of people, so we had to think about the best way to bring people together, bring them value, and then encourage them in this direction.
Today I am happy to present to you the fruit of a long reflection, which will allow VITAL to reach new heights.
Vital: Create your anonymous and decentralized fundraising project
The objective is to offer individuals and associations the opportunity to put forward a project in order to raise funds.
These projects are generally one-off and can be diverse and varied: birthday present, financing of grandfather’s wheelchair, the honeymoon of the newlyweds or a simple common expense.
The non-profit associations are present with a different economic model and a different integration process because their project is constant over time.
From a functional point of view, users are able to make payments directly from the project page, for this they will simply have to connect
their wallet and complete the transaction.
At the end of the fundraising countdown, the user who created this kitty will be able to either spend it directly with one of our partners without any commission fees, or to recover the funds on his wallet for decreasing commission fees depending on the status of the user and of their staking level.
Payments will be made initially in EGLD, VITAL, then potentially other tokens from the Elrond ecosystem that could be valuable.
A strong tokenomic allows us to redistribute commission fees to enrich the ecosystem:
- Purchase of VITAL at the market to burn it
- Purchase of VITAL at the market to fill staking pools (NFTs/VITAL)
- Project funding
This application is completely decentralized, managed by Smart Contracts and users remain anonymous if they wish.
An exception is made for associations that will be certified by Vital Network and chosen by community consensus (DAO).
The classification as well as the ranking of the projects will also be governed by the DAO.
